Sensur was founded by Dean and Ralph, lifelong friends, business partners, and engineers by trade — but perfectionistsmby nature. After years spent building structures, systems, and companies, we found ourselves facing a far more personal challenge: navigating skincare that never truly felt made for us.From our teenage years into our mid-twenties, we tried product after product — gels, serums, scrubs, treatments — each promising clarity, confidence, or control. But nothing felt consistent, trustworthy, or genuinely suited to our skin. Looking back, we realised we had tested well over 200 products between us. We joked that Sensur started as an argument over who had found the better cleanser — but the truth is more honest than that: We wanted better for ourselves, and for others who were just like us.
How Sensur Began
One afternoon over coffee, a simple conversation about our routines turned into something deeper. We realised no brand made us feel “at home.” No brand spoke to our values: clarity, honesty, balance, and thoughtful innovation. And no brand felt like a long-term partner in healthy skin — from teenage years to later life.That moment lit a spark.We envisioned a brand shaped not by marketing trends, but byreal people and real needs.
